Ever since I was 9 years old, I've been captivated by the world of beading. My name is Shannon Morfitt, and beading isn't just a hobby for me – it's a passion that has grown and evolved over the years. The moment I threaded my first bead, I knew I had found something special, something that would be a significant part of my life. As I grew older, my skills developed alongside my love for beading. I've spent countless hours creating various pieces, from simple, elegant bracelets to intricate, detailed designs that tell a story. Beading for me is more than just threading beads; it's a way of expressing creativity and embracing a form of art that is both ancient and ever-evolving. But what truly brings me joy is sharing this passion with others. Teaching beading is something I hold dear to my heart. I love seeing the spark of interest in others eyes, guiding them through the process, and watching them develop their unique styles. My approach to teaching is patient and supportive because I believe everyone has the potential to create something beautiful. I enjoy a mix of traditional techniques and contemporary styles. Whether you're just starting or have been beading for years, I aim to provide a space where creativity flourishes, and new ideas are born. Beading is a journey, and I'm thrilled to be a part of so many people's journeys in this colorful, intricate world.
